Eruption Bogoslof volcano

Help .....The Bogoslof Erupted!

Well You perhaps never heard of this volcano before ; -) But it doesn't happen often a rather unknowm volcanoe suddenly erupts. An unexpected explosive eruption rocked Bogoslof in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska according to the Alaska Volcano Observatory. The eruption was noticed by pilots flying near the remote volcano along with satellite imagery (see below) that revealed an ash plume reaching up 10 kilometers (32,000 feet).

Merry Christmas

Author Paul Auster reads "Auggie Wren's Christmas Story." The short story has no Santa Claus, no Christmas tree, and no brightly wrapped packages. And yet there's plenty of giving.
The tale about a writer's holiday assignment for The New York Times was initially published in the paper on Christmas Day, 1990.

Ethiopia has a new railroad

The railway line links Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's capital, to the Red Sea state of Djibouti, which handles much of landlocked Ethiopia's trade. The $4 billion rail line was largely financed by a Chinese bank.
